good target stuffing

I just bought a new bass boat and noticed the wrap that was on all the new boats sitting on the lot. I asked the manager if they reused them or trashed them. He said they went in the trash. I told him what I used it for and asked if he would save me a couple. Believe me one is enough to stuff a bag or a box. He gave me one while I was there and told me to check back with him on others. I don't know if all dealers use them but two of the dealers that I have seen here do. I have not looked at any of the others. It might not hurt to look in your area. This is some really heavy duty plastic going in the trash. My boat was 18 feet long and the beam is 96 inches wide and this plastic goes all the way down the sides. Hope this helps.

I visit grocery stores and ask for their shrink wrap trash. They have lots daily.

Old tarps minus the grommets stuffed into a woven dog food or sunflower seed bag.

I can only imagine the amount of plastic a winter boat storage lot has in the spring. I personally use grocery store plastic bags in double burlap coffee sacks. Super light if you need to move and they work really well. I need to find some woven feed sacks to try stuffing.

I have a pellet stove and use the plastic bags that the pellets come in. They work very well. I have boxes and feed bags stuffed.

Shrink wrap works very well, and the price is right.

Lots of good ideas for target stuffings here. I use household soft plastic, grocery bags, packaging wraps etc, stuff them in a woven feed bag and then stitch up a cover of coffee bean bags.....all recycled products. They work great. Have five of them scattered around in the woods near my house.

Agree w/ Drewster, but filled my Third Hand Rag Bag w/ only crinkly shopping bags --- they don't melt onto the arrows as some other materials have.
