New!! 2 Piece TD Recurve
« on: October 05, 2013, 03:37:00 PM »
There many bowyers that make 2 piece TD longbows. After requests asking if I could make a 2 piece recurve and me saying yes I think I could, just never have. I thought I should go ahead and make one and see what people thought. This is the result,it's a 60" Tuktu Ex. The riser is a rosewood and ebony. The limbs are kingwood veneers. I also made a new profile for the face overlays. Question is are there needs or wants for a 2 piece TD recurve?

I love it as well.  Those simple, but elegant looks are really appealing.

That is  beautiful, whats not to like, a td, yet still has the graceful lines of a one piece, i could see me owning one.

Fantastic looking bow.  I love 2-piece designs.  They offer the look and feel of a 1-piece and pack down tight for travel like a 3 piece.
