Take a look at Dick Robertson's video of the Wolfer on their website...they obviously feel there is a place for a two piece recurve...even better to have one with static tips and made in Canada

Fantastic. Really like those limb profiles. I'd say that's a shooter.

Darn it Abe, if you keep making such incredible looking bows, you'll never have time to come down to Minnesota for some smallmouth fishing!

Great job!

Abe, I would say that there is a want and need for any bow that you build! That is a beautiful creation! A Cari-bow is getting closer to the top of my list every time I see one of your bows, and I still need to try a static. Well done.

I also made a new profile for the face overlays. Question is are there needs or wants for a 2 piece TD recurve?

Seems like you just lost your hunting season.

Does in require micarta or phenolic in riser?
What's not to like?

Danny it's 50 # @ 28". Not sure it's in your weight range.
awbowman-no it doesn't need or have phenolic.

Here are some graphs, one is a DFC ,the other I like to call an effort graph. The effort graph will give the lbs increase  for every inch draw the bow till 31".

I know it says Draw force curve on the above graph it's because I use the same program to make both graphs.

Hi Abe. It's Ray Garrett. We meet at the HCJ in August and I put down the deposit on a LH Tuktu Ex.

What are you doing to me man? This new take down looks awesome!!! Don't worry, I haven't changed my mind and I'm still going with my original order, the 62" one piece but I'm torn.  :notworthy:

Hi Abe. I'm limited to just whitetails and elk, this year. Moose in my area has been on draw for years now but I'm now at priority 5. Hope to get drawn next year. Of course, as it always happens, I had 3 bulls follow me into stands in the dark. The rut was furious!

Elk was very disappointing, tho.  From calling in a 5X5 to my buddy last year and almost getting a poke at a big cow myself, I never heard or saw an elk until I hit the pavement on the drive home. I had to brake when a big cow and calf crossed in front of me.

I did pass up 2 different spiker whitetails, 2 Saturdays apart, from the same stand. Dead to rights! That was a month ago already. Fun tho!
I don't shoot does and had a few shots if I wanted them too.

They totally closed muleys  in my wmu, this year. Really sucks!

All I have is 2 ruff grouse so far and lots of " feathers". There's lots around this year, must be a high cycle. I got thinking about our conversation at the HCJ and maybe I will try those small game heads you use. Judos don't always seem to be the best thing sometimes.

Not going back out until the 22nd, for a 4 day hunt.

How's your season going, Abe?

I cannot wait to get my hands on that Tuktu!   :archer:
