Who made this knife???
« on: September 08, 2007, 02:13:00 PM »
I was wondering if anyone could tell me who made this knife? I got it with my armguard and it is an awsome knife and holds a great edge. I just don't know who made it. So any help will be appriciated. Thanks

With my amateur eye, I can't tell you much from the picture, how about you send it to me for a long term inspection?  ;)   :bigsmyl:

That looks just like the knives made by River Traders of Oregon.  I've never found any actual information about them but here is a site that sells their knives:   River Traders

Thanks guys those were the answers I was looking for. They are made by river traders. Now I need to buy a belt sheath for it so I can use it when not wearing that armguard. Thanks for the tips

That would be an easy shape to make your own sheath for. Beautiful knife.

herkimerhunter - For the price this is one heck of a knife. You won't regret it if you get one.

I found a nice belt sheath for it. The armguard was made by steve catts "The Leathersmith" . He did a fantastic job on it. I could have asked for a better armguard. It was custom made for me with about a 15-16 week wait. Here's a better pic of it

That knife is sold through "Track of the Wolf".  A primitave Black Powder supply company.  I believe they carry belt and neck sheaths for them (I have a neck model).
