I am very lucky to have a great friend with a great ranch in central Texas. His place is covered up in game, it's where I got my first trad turkey last year.
On to the hunt, well I shot a big sow the first evening. The very next evening I had turkeys come in but I never had a good shot present itself.
The last evening of the hunt I had several bucks come by the stand. When my buck stepped out, here came the "buck fever". I was shaking so bad that I did not think that I would have a shot. I have been lucky enough to take some good archery deer over the last 30 years, but never with traditional gear. I had a second chance to recover from buck fever and I put the "Shark" in the boiler house.
Well here's the picture, the quiver in the picture is the St Jude's Auction quiver from our very own Bud. Thanks Bud for an awesome quiver my friend.
