Push while pulling?

Guys, do you push with your bow hand while pulling with the string hand? I'm talking about  just before the release.  Almost like lengthening your draw a touch, even though it is unnoticeable?

ya thats the way i was taught and it works well for me. but diffrent things work for diffrent people... curtis
