Ripe for the harvest!

Finally found one lone tree that had some falling fruits. They had been tearing it up to. Along with the caps, half eaten nuts and fresh poop everywhere I saw three small trees that were very freshly rubbed up. One of them was twisted and ripped off. I was hoping the big daddy would come to visit later.
Ran back to the truck grabbed a stand and some steps and rushed back and hung it right on top of the action. The nuts were ripe and falling. It was a steady stream of deer most all night. Coming and going.
Two other little bucks and this dude showed up but he just wasn't quite ripe enough for the pickin'. Darkness fell and grandaddy never showed, great evening though. I am going back to hang a trail camera so I don't bugger it up with my scent from multiple sits or waste anymore time in there. Only tree on the place with any nuts. I'll check it in a week or so.
Here is a video of him

That right there is what makes hunting KY great!
Here in VA, that buck wouldn't have made it last year, let alone this deer due to our multi-buck limit.

Yep, this is the third young 10 point I have seen this fall. If they can avoid the lead slingers this place should be good in two more years.

Thanks fellows, I had my good camera handy but hanging behind me on the tree and I was sitting when he surprised me. So I reached in my pocket and got my phone. Hoping to get some better photos of them soon.
