Weitas Creek Outfitters in Idaho. Gary is a trad archery guy and very knowledgeable. I went bear hunting with him last spring and am going again next year. Top notch outfit.

Give Red Feather Guides and Outfitters of Gould, Colo. a call. Guides are very knowledgeable re. getting bowhunter in position for a shot at an elk.

Hidden Creek Outfitters in WY, I have been there twice and will be getting up another traditional group of four to go next year if things work out. I will no more about this in a few weeks and will post info if any of you want to go.

Had a great hunt there this year with bulls every day and one at less than 15 yards. I will be doing a full article on the hunt in the Primitive Archer Magazine.

I have hunted the Gould Colo area for over 30 years.  Just beware this is NOT one of the better areas in Colo for elk.  Oh yea there are some elk, but you have to hunt VERY hard to find them.  This is the area the Red Feather Outfitters hunt.  If I were spending money for a guide to hunt Colo. I would look else where.  Just my opinion, I would check out other suggestions in this pole.

Mule Creek Outfitters...

Outstanding guys and have been around the woods for many an elk season.

Look in the sponsors list.

x2 with Mike, Hidden Creek in Wyoming was a great trip and good people can't go wrong with them
Bowhunting is a passion, not an obsession. Its just hard for my wife to tell the difference sometimes.
