I am interested to see what most people use for hunting. Taking into consideration you may be hunting different things, lets keep this in the Whitetail deer size game.

Right now all of my bows are between 55-58#'s @ my 29" draw.

After 2 decades of hunting with 58# to 65# bows and dealing with two shoulder surgerys, I've been very happy with 51#-52# bows the last 3 years.

Right at 50# for me, although I wouldn't feel underbowed for whitetails at 45#.
Sharpen those broadheads and pick your spot, makes up for a lot of poundage if you don't do those things.
