Had a nice guy with his C bow,come into the shop.I said to him,Bet my bow is faster than yours.He looked at me,like i had 3 heads.I told him to shoot and while he was fiddlin around with his release and drawin and linin up his pins to his peep,i put 3 arrows in the bale.
Target archery is seeing how far away you can get and still hit the bull's eye. Bowhunting is seeing how close you can get and never miss your mark.

A bit off topic, but in a similar vein,

A guy all decked out in proper riding attire with his English saddle was poking fun at a cowboy's western saddle. It was too big, too heavy, too hard, too....

The cowboy just looked at him and said "I'll bet I can jump more fences with my saddle than you can rope steers with yours".
