This post is meant to be a preview.A look at the 3 blade we will have available early next year.
New for 2014. We are going to offer a non vented 3 blade Grizzly. We have been working on this on and off for over a year!
One of the most difficult aspects to designing a non vented 3 blade.More specifically one that I could build with my punch presses has been keeping the weight below 200 grains. Designing fixtures to assemble a head with so many pieces was the next major challenge.
The dies are being cut. The assembly fixtures are designed and prototypes fixtures are made. With help from friends we are in the process of designing a new grinding system to put an edge on these 3 blade heads.
Any how here is a computer drawing of what the head will look like. The overall length is 2 3/4". The cutting diameter is 1 1/8".

Awesome !  Will it have an integral insert (pictured) or is that to be added by the user (if needed)?

So, they can end up between about 190 and 275 grains, maybe a bit more, by playing with inserts or simply 175 as a glue on.  Nice

Looks a lot like the old 300 Xtreme except glue on. Nice looking head, with a 100 gr broadhead adaptor they would be 275 gr, just about perfect for my style.

The models show between 165-175 grains. Really its going to depend on grinding. Once we have a few hundred ground we will know for sure what weight they will fall into.

The price? Its hard to know for sure because I dont know just how long it will take to weld or grind these heads. Its likely to fall between $50-$55 for a 6 pack. Far less than any other non vented 3 blade!

Your right,Danny. These 3 blades will be the same dimensions as the Grizzly's.

I have to get back to work now. I'll answer any other questions when I can.
