First small game trad kill

This guy came hopping by right before dark and gave me a five yard shot!

I jumped one this weekend but he never stopped for a shot. That looks like a brown gravy and rice dinner to me. Great shot!

Congratulations I've been trying to get a rabbit near our farm for some time now but he keeps eluding me.. P.S. Am I the only one that thinks this looks more like a rat then a rabbit?? I've never seen a rabbit like that! He looks really skinny and his ears look small..

Rabbit is one of my favorite wild game animals to eat.  My wife won't touch them but anytime I get a shot at a rabbit I will take it (never gotten one with a bow).
