TimberGhost 3 piece LB......incredible!...Pics added!!
« on: October 23, 2013, 08:14:00 AM »
Hi Gang,

I have received 3 weeks ago a used TimberGhost 3 piece build by Kent Roberts ( Sponsor here on TradGang). Thanks Ed for the possibility to buy this great bow here on TrandGang!
Ed sent the bow back to Kent to  reduce a few pounds. I have to say, Kent is a top fellow with a awesome customer service. Although he is very busy he reduced and finished the bow in a few days and sent it to me.  Thanks Ed & Kent for the trouble-free business!

About the bow, it is a 60” 50@30” 3 piece LB with desert camo actionwood / Phenolic riser and the limbs are  carbon on the back and carbon/ Actionboo core with desert camo actionwood veneers  on the belly.
I cannot say enough good things about this bow! Guru has posted a great review about the Timberghost 3 piece LB   http://tradgang.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=1;t=130298
I agree 100% with Guru`s review! This  short power house is an awesome performing bow. It is super smooth, point able  and very accurate  with a flat trajectory. No stacking or finger pinch at my 30” draw, it is very quit, NO hand shock…. . and FAAASSSSTTTT!!!!
This bow is all you can get and more. I shoot it now about 3 week but the feeling is I own it since years….very easy to handle.
The grip is not custom made  for me but it feels very comfortable .
The workman ship is TOP.
This bow design has one of the best overall performance that I ever have try.
Not to mention that the triple Carbon version is faster and smoother draw…..

But now the incredible of the story:
I have had last Sunday a 3d shooting and decided to use my TimberGost . This Tournament was very tricky with a fierce competition in the Longbow class.
Long story shortened……….I have placed “ 1.”……. Unbelievable ……. with a bow that I own 3 weeks now ….That say a lot!!

Again, special thanks to Kent & Ed to get this great bow        !

I can highly recommend this bow. You will be not disappointed!!

Hubert

PS I will try to post pics later....

Anymore Timberghost stories and I'm going to break down and order one. Longbow, recurve...hmmm?

Hubert asked me to place some pics from his bow. So here they are, enjoy!

Looks like a nice bow! Can't wait to test-drive this one!

Btw, I succeeded in installing Photobucket on my IPad and send it from there. Works even easier then from a Windows PC!

Kind regards Brother!       :D

A beauty! I like that riser wood and limb profile. Looks fast just sitting there.

Hubert glade to see you are doing so well with the bow. I told you it hit where you were looking and shot very good groups. I hope you continue to keep your form and shoot well. Thanks  Ed

As soon as I read the Guru report mentioned earlier, I sent Kent a deposit, and am patiently waiting.
I'm not sure what kind of woods I will have him use, so it would be helpful if others could post pictures to help me decide. Any bow riser is fine, just so I could get some ideas.
It sounds like Kent's bows are smooth, short and accurate without any noise or hand shock.
Not sure what else one would want in a bow.
