I am very glad to hear this.  The bow shop that I practically lived in as a boy was a Martin dealership...I shot just about every wheelie and bent stick they made back then (about 20 years ago now lol).  I only owned a Mountaineer longbow by them, personally though.  Martin is a good company...and seemed to always be conscience of lower priced, entry level equipment for the whole family.  I think that is very important. I'll be looking for more info on this.  Thanks for letting us know!

FYI, Martin Archery on their Facebook page posted a link to news article about the company. It states that the new owners have added a 2nd shift and they're now back to the production levels of 2 years ago. Regarding trad bows, the Martin representaive said this:

"We're in the process of setting up an assembly line for traditional - there will be nothing automated - but it will far more efficient," he said.

I'm very interested to see what the Martin-Howatt line looks like in the 2014 catalog. Clint

I hope it works out, but I will remain skeptical till I see the final product. Many times these types of regroupings or whatever you call it seem to be a good thing but then fade into the background and fail. I really hope they can pull it off and keep a great product line alive. I wish them the best of luck!!
