Couple Fox bows on order
« on: October 24, 2013, 03:13:00 AM »
Well got off the phone with Ron earlier finishing up my order. I ordered a Maverick and a Royal Crown.

Maverick is going to be 62" with canary limbs and babinga/canary riser.

Royal Crown will be 64" juniper limbs with the riser bacote and cocobolo.

Both will be in the 56-58# range. I've been wanting to order a few more of Ron's bows for a while and I finally stopped messing around and did it.

Can't wait.

I have a couple Fox bows that I love so I just needed to add to the collection. I've had a RC in the past and loved it but I just prefer one built for me when it comes to my bows.

Yes Ron and Debbie are great people.

I'd like to order a High Sierra and another longbow when I get these two in.

Guys,
I have a Triple Crown in the classifieds that I really need to sell. I have to pay lawyer bills so all my bows are going on the block, but this bow is special. Won't someone help a guy out?

Regards,
Rick

Love my High Sierra.  50# @ 28", best grip in the business, IMHO.

Thanks all. As of now I have a Breed and a 60" t/d longbow and both are great shooters. I've had just about all his bows in the past except the triple crown just never got to buying one.

I've gone through a lot of bows over the years and have settled on Fox, blacktail and Liberty for the most part. Though their are still a few I'd like to try out and at some point I will when I find one in my spec in the classifieds.

Feel free to post up some of you're Fox bow pics here.

Should be a nice looking combo.

A couple Wes Wallace bows are on my list to get but that will be after this Fox order and my next Fox order.

Yes love my Breed as well. Mine's not a T/D but at some point I will order a T/D version.

Next on my list is a High Sierra. Just gotta figure the wood out.

Tradhunt - what is his waiting time at the moment?

I foolishly sold my beautiful R/C about five years ago and regularly regret doing so.  Of the 25 odd customs I have had over the years, my R/C was head and shoulders above the rest for a one-piece R/D longbow.  I would love to order another but the Australian dollar is very low at the moment, his prices are up a bit from last time and my wife would kill me.

Luckily I have my Pittsley Predator Impact Recurve - by far the best recurve bow of all.  However, there was something about that R/C which was such a smooth joy to shoot.  You are a lucky boy living in the States and can order so many bows from him.  Best of luck to you!
