Ed Mikuda brace height
« on: October 25, 2013, 08:25:00 PM »
dose anyone know the recommended brace height for a 60" Mikuda longbow. just put on a new string  and didn't measure my the old brace height. I set it at 8" to start and have gone 1/4" both directions and it shoots loud. Thanks Jon

I had one that was longer.....I ran it about 8". But I like a high brace. Do you have anything on the string [silencers]?

thanks Ron 8" sound about right and I do have beaver balls set at about 9" from loops. just like my old string and bow was dead quiet.

I might try to move the balls to 12" and try it.

My 64# from Ed I brace at 8 1/4 inches. Play with it and you will find the sweet spot.
