The issue I have with these tests are they're not really conclusive.

First take the thin web of a green shoulder and most heads coming out of a well setup and tuned bow should bust through.   Green shoulders are soft an in the right area thin on a whitetail.

You'll see quick in bobs pic not all critters are quality (ment equal LOL).  At that point at least for someone not hunting say cape buff the test is inconclusive.   The bow itself likely didn't have the energy to bust through regardless of head design for said amount of bone .  Its like asking a kids rocket set to fly to the moon.

Now take a look at a any shoulder.   You'll see very fast it's not created equal from edge to edge.

And lastly shot angle itself can play into how well even a good bow/ bh set penetrates or possibly doesn't.

Personally I think overall the heads a great head. Don't get me wrong here  I'm not knocking it in the least !  I do own a bunch and considered them for bears and long beards but stuck with my Zwickeys for the time being.   I think with a similar medium you'll find similar results from a lot of heads!  (Out of a well tuned well setup bow!

No I will admit these tests are with out pause fun!

(sorry really need to reread before I post LOL!)

But don't shoot shoulder blades deliberately. No percentage in the shot.
Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.- Ben Franklin
