Down bibs?
« on: October 27, 2013, 09:02:00 PM »
This last year I "converted" to down insulation for whitetail hunting in Wisconsin. I wear an ultralight down jacket as a mid-layer under my main uninsulated camo jacket. I've never been warmer!!!

However, I've been looking for a specific piece. Does anyone make a set of down mid-layer bibs? (Not an outer layer, but to go between the base-layer and outer-layer.)

Most of the mountaineering names have down and primaloft pants. Get outside of the hunting brands. Mtn. Hardware, First Ascent, The North Face, and others... The new gen military primaloft pants are supposed to almost be too warm so check them as well.
