50 Yr Old Kodiak Scores
« on: October 27, 2013, 09:27:00 PM »
For my 50th year I wanted to hunt with a 50 year old bow.  Well really I wanted to kill something with a 50 year old bow.  So a couple years ago I bought a 1963 dogleg Kodiak.  It shoots really nice.  I turned 50 in April so this fall was time to break out the Kodiak.  In September I missed an easy shot at a mule deer buck with it in Colorado.  Well I stuck with it and took it to Nebraska last week on a whitetail hunt.  Finally got a shot Friday evening and made it count.  She died 10 yds from my stand.  50# bow, cedar shaft, woodsman head.

Way to go, pretty neat. Would love to have that same bow but in lefty.
