First Trip To Africa
« on: October 29, 2013, 10:12:00 AM »
I posted over in the Dark Continent forum some pics and info. about my recent trip to South Africa.

 http://tradgang.com/noncgi/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=27;t=000425

It was an incredible experience. I'm still a novice when it comes to Africa but wanted to share this info. and would be happy to answer PMs with questions because I know I constantly looked for more and more information when we were planning this trip. Bottom line, if your considering hunting in Africa, MAKE IT HAPPEN as you won't regret it.

I kept saying "someday I want to go to Africa". My wife, who doesn't sugar coat much, told me I was rapidly running out of "somedays".

As a result of her kindly encouragement, in 2005 I took my two sons and went to South Africa. My expectations didn't even come close to the experiences we had. Wish I'd done it 20 years ago and can't wait to get back there.

Bet you're going to look at those pics a lot, remembering the trip   :)

Looks like a wonderful setup and you guys had a tremendous time. Africa has a way of pulling you back, hard to explain unless you have been. Sunrise and sunsets are spectacular. The eerie noises in the night are really cool.
