Archery terms misunderstood
« on: October 30, 2013, 07:04:00 PM »
Lets see how funny some of you can be . Put your archery term that is misunderstood on here and see if any of them are so funny that it makes your eyes tear up .

Example : An anchor point is not a geographical place on a body of water .

A brace height is not how far it goes up your back .

I think you get the point , lets have some good laughs .    :biglaugh:

Back tension is not necessarily what happens after your kids are going crazy all day while you have been carrying them on your back.

Point On doesn't mean your arrow made it to the target.

A bowhunter is not a guy who spends all his free time looking for another bow. Oh wait, he is.

A bent shaft is not an indirect path to a gold mine.

A broadhead is not the opposite of a narrow mind.

About that cock feather. Was that left wing or right, helical or straight offset?

Spline has nothing to do with arrows.

One very old archery term that is used when we miss out mark...it's called "a sin" and we all do it!
