Making Memories
« on: October 31, 2013, 07:48:00 AM »
Purchased a 1 pc Schafer from Bighorn Tn,Rick Johnson, bow arrived yesterday, beautiful bow, everything Rick said it was.Took it out to the range, Found it liked Axis 400's,put some no mercies on the arrows, shot like darts. Took the schafer out for an evening hunt behind the house.
By chance Rick called me on the cell phone while I was in the stand,I never answer the phone, but this time I did,I told him what I was hunting with and he wished me luck. A short time later I had three deer come buy,a button buck stopped at about 15 yards, slightly quartering away, took the shoot, the arrow passed through, the deer walked slowly away for about 20 yards and fell over. The bow was so quiet that the other two deer never moved ,just continued to feed. The deer will be great eating, I would like to thank Rick for the bow, the great transaction and especially the memory.

Archery isn't something I do, it's who I am!
The road to "Sherwood" makes for an awesome journey.
