They are probably hunting.. Took about three weeks to recieve  my last order. Well worth the wait! They don't just sell these garments an equipment. The live the bow hunting life. Patience can be a virtue when ordering from the asbells. They won't forget your order when they return.. Shoot straight and good hunting!     Mercerkystick

Sometimes they have what you order in stock, sometimes it has to be made.  In stock items ship faster than items that need to be made.

I don't know them but plan to try out one of their shirts at some point... I would prefer to order from people who are hunters... Worth the wait I'm sure.

Talked with Teresa on Monday. She said they were heading out this week but she would be dropping my order in the mail before they left.

Be patient, it'll be worth it!

Just something to remember that they do get very busy this time of year so if you are wanting something for the archery seson it's best to order during the summer...Everyone including myself would like our wool as soon as we place the order within a few days or a week but I have seen them get jammed up this time of year with orders ....Best to always order during the off seasons so you will have it in plenty of time for Fall/winter...

Placed an order Sunday, Nov 3rd, no idea when it will be here but it doesn't get real cold here until late December, then its down in the 30s!

So in the mean time I will still hit the thrift stores looking for wool sweaters. Picked up a super nice L.L. Bean dark gray 100% wool sweater for a grand total of $2.50!

Ordered the zippered Timber Ghost from Asbell.

Hey guys I have been at work on a drilling rig with no internet service since the day after I posted. The zippered jacket & Sherpa vest was waiting when I got home. Hunted today with the jacket (Texas about 50 degrees) and it was perfect. I will have to save the Sherpa vest for the really cold weather. I recommend the jacket, nothing fancy, but functional.

Can't beat Asbell wool for layering or price. I own several pieces. Sold my King of the Mountain vest because it was just to heavy for hunting in Texas. These are not mass produced in a big factory. Teresa oversees several people who man the sewing machines. Sometimes you just have to wait. Rest assured your order will be filled. Good luck.   :banghead:
