Al woodsman, I've been wanting to do a DIY hunt/camp trip on eufaula WMA but can never keep a group together when we plan it. The past two years somebody pulls out due to funds, car issue, etc.

Would love to see the family's land!

Jake ... I say go for it alone if you have to. Some of my best times hunting are alone when you can really start to become a part of the landscape and the woods. If you wait for other people to get on board you'll be waiting a loing time.

I just went to Haliegh, Ketchum, and redfish lake this past fire season and loved all the country out there. A little kindle still remains lit in my heart from the passionate flames I had from scaling the mountains out there. Needless to say, I loved it!

I wish I could say I own this cabin but it's at a campground halfway between two of our properties.
A/C or heat, tv, porch swing, bunkbeds, bathroom, sink, stove. Beats a crumby hotel any day of the week! All it's missing is a Michigan Wolverines banner. (college football's winningest program and the only big ten team with a winning record versus the SEC)

Cast iron, is that on private property or public land? I see some of these camps and wonder how in the world you guys get them up and down each year multiple times. A tent is usually the extent of my "camp"

Edge,
this pix is of private land but I set it up pretty much the same at LBL and other public land even Colorado as long as I can drive to the spot for base camp I usually will not set this much camp unless I am staying 8 to 10 days,
weekend hunts I might just sleep in the truck bed  ;)
