Two bows
« on: November 04, 2013, 08:12:00 AM »
I don't know what i think . I am confused .
 Same arrow ?

one-piece hybrid 59#@29" brace height 7"(arrow 11 GPP)  average 163 fps

TD hybrid   66#@29" brace height 7" (arrow 10 GPP) average 175 fps

HRONY

arrow timber stick BearPaw spine 300 (gold tip) >>>-------> average  667 grain

both bows, using the same arrow. Bare shaft test I did and I am very satisfied. First test with 10 yards and another from 20 yards. Perfect arrow flight!

I expected that a stronger bow use shorter arrow, that it will be the weak. But these two bows using the same arrow.
Are they too slow? In any case, I am satisfied with the arrow flight ?

The Arrow speed you have is about average, or even a bit above average. 175 @ 10 gpp using 667 grains should be a great hunting set up at close yardage. If you like the way they shoot don't sweat the speed bro.  Kirk
