Sounds like a good idea, cause I like looking too. It usually gets me in trouble though    :bigsmyl:

I sure would welcome this. I have a new Timber Ghost on order and not a clue on what woods to use.
Some photos would give me some ideas I'm sure.
Thanks much.

Sure sounds good. Are you thinking  a gallery for all, or a showroom for bowyers?

Oh no. Please don't start this. I waste enough time on this site already. The last thing I need is bow porn. That being said, since I am pretty weak willed when it comes to bows, feel free to post pics of my next longbow. Thanks

Are you looking for a separate post area or on this thread? Second question is would bowyers be allow to submit pictures. If so it would fill up very quickly
even if we kept it to a minimum.

OK,   this thread is not very far along yet,  I need to remember not to come back to it or I'll end up spending money.
A separate category dedicated to just eye candy would be a good idea.

A separate category dedicated for eye candy would be Awesome! My thought are bowyers and owners should be able to post their works of art,why not? If you have a bow and want to show it off, or if you built a bow and want to show it even if you're a bowyer, it should be fine as long as a price is not listed.

An alphabetical list of bowyers would be greatly beneficial. Owners in the mix. May even categorize the "main" riser woods. Longbows/recurves. If THAT'S too much work, keep it a simple listing. It's fun just to browse!

Don't keep it to a minimum! I absolutely love seeing pictures of people's Cari-bows and since you make them, I'm guessing you've got some of the best photos around.

Here are two of my bows made by Ed Kincade. The top one is Bolivian Rosewood, African Blackwood & a little Bubinga. The limbs are black & white ebony. The bottom one is Koa wood that I picked up when I was in Hawaii earlier this year and the limbs are Makore Spalted Beeswing.
