I know your frustration. Season started in September, and I have only hunted 3 times without results.

Yep.  With no end in sight.  Worst season ever    :(

On the bright side, that should be a contest winning photo.  That is a once in a lifetime deer there.  Good luck TJ.

Dang... That is one fantastic deer.  I hope you find the time to get after him.  Just knowing he's in the neighborhood will make each minute on the stand more exciting.

That's how it was for me last couple seasons. Couldn't hunt! This year I was able to get some time off. But things didn't start happening here till yesterday. I rattled in a 4x4 and let him go. He had a nasty festering wound on the top of his back possibly due to fighting. Then yesterday evening I was watching a 5x4 with a doe. I was so caught up with them that I didn't realize a nice 4x4 was closing in on me at a fast trot. He made it through my shooting lanes before I was ready! Rookie mistake!

I had to work my 3 day weekend cause of a pipe leak.
But traded it for 3 other days off, then got a call from boss said he was sorry that I could not have those days off. I put up my work gear and got out my hunting gear and took all the days off.    :laughing:
Shot two does and more to come after I get them processed. I was looking for a job when I found that one!!!

Killing me too. We went the last wk of Oct due to it being the only time we could get on the land we hunted- too early, standing crops, 3 good bucks on cam but all at night.

Hoo-boy - that's a pig.

Well not to whine, but my problem is sort of different.  I killed my 1 allowed buck in early September - third day of the season... Haven't hunted in over two months!  I am really having withdrawals surfing TG, talking to friends about all of the scrapes that are showing up and wishing I was out there in the cool/cold weather hunting a rut crazed whitetail.

Oh well.  Hope you get a shot at that buck!

Well,I had been chained to my Toolbox for a bit TJ but got a few days off,and by golly,shot a nice doe tonight. Got that monkey off my back,and some Venison in the freezer. You guys have some awesome deer down there. Hopefully you can break away soon. Gotta be tough with deer like that in the trailcam pics. Broad daylight to boot. Good luck,pick that lock!  rat'
