6 3/4- 7 1/2. I draw 30" on my 66" Super D and the brace is at 7". YMMV.

68” Toelke Super D
Great Northern Quivers only!

All the best!

Ok. I've got mine set at 7  1/4 and it has a bit of a thump.

Mine is at 6 7/8"

Make sure you get the heel of your hand low and in contact with the grip. It will turn that thump into a subtle pulse.

Yeah they have a mild bump like a much softer version of a Hill bow. The one I had liked 7-7 1/8".  Get your whole palm and fingers in contact, don't shoot it with just thumb and forefingers.  Great little D bow.  Was surprised how easy to shoot well it was.  I ended up passing it on, I think I still prefer the Whip.

Nineworlds,

Yea, I shoot with my thumb laying easy on the grip and my index and middle finger lightly wrapped around the front. The bow is a great shooter, but it has come out of my hand before on the shot. I have a hard time gripping the handle hard and shoot a vertical, straight up bow style. Probably very unconventional for a Hill style bow shooter. I've never shot a Whip, but I love my Lynx. Absolutely dead in my hand!

Mine is set at 7-1/16". Dan's card says 6-3/4 to 7-3/8".

Mine gets really sweet to shoot when I grip it more like a pistol. All four fingers wrapped around the grip and the thumb high resting on the top of the leather grip. I relax my grip on the bow as I begin to draw. Mine is the straight grip.

Good luck to you with a great bow.

I ran mine a bit high......like 7 5/8", worked for me and it was almost silent.

Sure, I'll need to take a couple pitures of the riser. I don't want to highjack longbow fanatic's thread, so how about I email them to you tomorrow after I take them?

Since it's okay with longbow fanatic, I'll just post some pictures here. If anyone still wants copies sent to them, just let me know.

I'm not much of a photographer, so get what you can from them. The light was still a little shadowy.

Shot one of mine this morning, it is 58# @29" shooting 630 grs. with a brace height of 7 5/16". I am a tinkerer and with a range of different spine Douglas Firs and point weights I have been from 6 7/8" to 7 3/8" and have found you cannot keep these bow from being ridiculously quiet!
