If you look at Abe's first post you can see a black and yellow string with yarn puffs.

not sure but I felt the loops where too big so I sent it back for him to check out and he made a new string.

Bow is on its way back with new string, I decided not to wait another 6mths but I'll run its through its paces,, nothing to hunt here now!  frogs don't even open till July so stumps it will be,, I'll give the heads up where its going next when I know.

got the Tuktu Back yesterday and finally got a chance to shoot this bow today about 140 arrows. it shoots so much better with the new string,, seems about as fast as the previous string but a lot more quiet at the shot no more synthetic twang.

not sure what model arrow Abe sends with the bow but its dead perfect!  even at my max distance today 27yds the bow was dead on with this arrow,,, my personal arrows are heritage 150's and 250's and what I found is the best arrow from my own stash that shoot as good as Abe's arrow for my 27" draw was the 29" heritage 150 with stock insert and 125gr point but I did like Abe's arrow better for accuracy it just seemed to go there at the longer distance,, I used to own two Sovereign Ballistics which where statics and this bow doesn't seem as sensitive as they where, this tuktu  has wider limbs and I'm no bowyer but maybe that's why.

the grip is meaty and has a decent size throat but holding it is comfortable for me.

I'm keeping the bow till after the weekend to take it to my club where I can get some more shots at better targets and stumps and really see how it shoots then I'll post again one last time but for those in line next after me I think you'll be happy with this one it was worth the wait.

whoever has this during deer season I'm already Jealous,, its such a beautiful bow in person its 50's retro but with a modern twist and it just belongs on a deer stand..

I just wanted to make my final post, this bow was awesome!  much much better with this new string and I just kept shooting abes arrow over and over and it was dead on for me.  

I think everyone after me will really like it at first I thought the grip was a tad chunky based on what I'm used to but out in the woods I just tightened down on the throat of the grip and it was right there.  fast, quiet, and seems to be consistent & no where near as sensitive as my last Ballistic was.  I wanted to have this out this morning to the next guy but got back late last night so I'm calling Abe after this to see who I'm sending it to.

Mail lady brought me a package today! Boy is it pretty! Had it put together and strung in 15 min.
Abe really built a Farrarii with this bow, man is it quick. Totally different than my Tiaga. I've got a week with it and will check in then.

Well, after a week with the bow I'm checking back in.
I first shot the bow with the supplied carbon arrow. I don't like carbon arrows. I shoot wood.65-70, 29.25"- 540 gr. They flew great!
I tried 2117's but had to turn the cock feather in to get good arrow flight.
The bow is feather light compared to my Taiga. The draw was a little stiff compared to the Taiga but I got used to it. I think a 62" wood have suited me better. Good looks, great craftsmanship, great shooting bow, Abe should be proud of his creation.
The bow is now on its way to Goodrich Mi.
