funny thing is it was a twofer...I was on the grong in an impromptu blind I made out of twigs and braches and brush. He was hanging witha a doe, not chasing(been a weird year, not seeing much rut activity) he knew something was up and hung up....he was not, in any way going to come into my lane and was starting to get spooky...had about a three inch window to thread an arrow through, but at 8 yards I'll take a poke at it...he didn't know he was dead...walked about 10 feet and died....doe he was with came back to see what was up...got herself a free ride in my truck too...might kill bigger deer, but honestly gonna be hard to top this hunt
