Not trying to do a sponsor out of any money, but I use empty bird seed or dog food bags, made from the same woven plastic as my $50.00 bag target. Other threads on here about how to stuff them.

Mike at The Nocking Point used to have them. Don't know if the new owner has any tho..?

I just stuff feed sacks with plastic bags cause I'm cheap.

AMES Industries makes the big burlap pillow bags with the animal bodies painted on and the built in grommets for hanging.  A little pricier than feed bags but they do last a long time.  Google AMES Industries and you can order the stuff able pillow bags directly from their website.

Good folks.  An indestructable target and it looks real enough.  I have three.  But I have not done business with them in several years so I hole they are still producing the U-Stuff It line.

I get mine from a place called "whitetail plus" in Deer Park, WA. Then I get all the free shrink wrap I need from some local feed stores. That works the best IMO. Free feed bags work great also, I guess you can draw our tape an animal to them. Good luck.

I used to buy the bags with animals on it. They get expensive when you shoot them out in a couple of months. I like others buy burlap feed bags. I stuff them with plastic grocery bags, bread wrappers etc.I can usually take spray paint and make a decent looking animal on it or I paint a 10" black circle with a white dot in the center. I haven't checked the price on single print paper targets but that might be an option.

I've been using woven grain bags for 20 years. New bags once in a while....same stuffing.

If you can find a soy bean seed salesman and dairy farmer. The seed crates are better nylon than targets. They are four by four square, cut out the interior baffles. Stuff it with spent silage plastic.  All free and each one will last for years.

Thanks, for the infos,
it's great to know Ames is still making the burlap targets,
i have used them for years, when most archery re-sellers ran out of stock (3rivers...) i managed to find a great amount of them on *****, I use around ten targets and bags on my shooting range, some are filled with plastic, some other ones with wool.
They look really cool, i also tried to make my own, but they don't look as good.

Buy burlap sacks and paint an animal on it...or cut one up and sew it into an animal.
