It's coming, but you can't hurry a good thing or a longbow hunter.
I was with Monty in central Alaska several weeks ago, and he mentioned some final editing and such going on. Having shared a camp or two with him, and being a witness to his adventures (antics?) I can confidently tell you his book is one to anticipate. I'm pretty sure it's nearing completion, but with Monty, there's always one more adventure on the way!

Saw Monty last weekend and he talked about the work on his book but I didn't ask what he was anticipating for a printing date. Still actively working on it and I have no doubt it will be well worth the wait.

When he was here last month he said that it was getting close. Now what "close" means, I can't say for sure. I can say that I am for sure going get a couple of copies when it's done! Mike

He talked about his book at the PBS banquet a couple weeks ago. He has a new computer and has enlisted the help of a young lady with publishing experience to assist him. I think he said he is devoting one day each week to working with her on his book. He didn't give a release date but does seem motivated about getting it done at this point.

Monty is done editing and is as we speak finishing it up with the printing. When I spoke to him a couple of weeks ago he had hopes of having it at KZoo...make no mistake, Monty wants it right and will stop at nothing to make it as perfect as possible.
That being said, he is our guest speaker at the United Bowhunters of Illinois banquet in March. I can't wait to get my hands on the book and spend time with he and Annie
