Mike, hope you like it as well as I. If you have experienced good cameras, you may not be as impressed as me with it. But for the size and cost, it sure is nice in my backpack!!

Took a handheld pic of a doe at 130 yds with it this morning, and even as my wallpaper on the computer it is a good pic. Shivering and wind and all!! LOL

Stay sharp, Kenny.

I found the camera on sale for $79 and decided Christmas was coming early for me.

I hope that I can learn to use it with some proficiency.

I was ready to get it home and start my training only to be disappointed to find out it needed something I didn't have and didn't purchase, a memory card.

I sure look forward to getting some good pictures with it.

The older gentleman working in the photo processing center came over where the electronics tech and I were discussing the camera and volunteered "That's a great little camera" and a great deal at that price.

Another friend of mine who has a couple of years of filming hunting shows made the statement.."You can even take pictures for National Geographic with this camera"  I thought.."I wish!"...lol

Thanks guys for sharing something that has started another spark in my life.

God bless,Mudd

Kenny were those pictures taken with the auto feature?

Might be buying this camera on my way through Chillicothe on the way home tomorrow.

Yes, I haven't messed with the manual works yet.

Went to a WMA today and brought my Canon SX160IS with me. I just started messing with the manual stuff. The easiest for me at this time until I know more about the camera is to go to the LIVE setting, then hit FUNC.SET. 3 scales come up on the screen - Dark-Light, Neutral-Vivid and Cool-Warm. Very easy to adjust the picture before you take it. On Auto my pictures tended to come out too white. These 2 were from today while hunting and traveling back to the truck. Both about 20 yards away.
