Thanks everyone. I am very blessed to have a great hunting family and kids. Both my sons and both my daughters hunt with me.

Tyler won't be able to make JLMBH as he will be off to college.

I am in your sons shoes. Been gone and haven't hunted with my dad in 3 years and its hard every season with out him, but it makes the hunts more meaningful...We are planning a squirrel hunt and later a moose hunt...Makes the time go by quicker! Glad you two were able to enjoy it!

Sounds like a fine young man with proper priorities in many life areas and great relationship you have.  You can't ask for much more than that as far as I am concerned.  I have a son growing up that is headed in the right direction with a heart in the right place so far.  It is going to be very hard to let him go.

Thanks for this thread.  My "baby" girl is heading away to college next year and I am trying to find more time with her to make sure I don't miss her too bad when she goes.

I think you should accompany him during his college years in Idaho.  You know, just to keep an eye on him...and the mountains out there  :)

Dick, you know it my friend. I am blessed beyond measure.

I hope you and your family are all well and wish you the best Holiday season.

I'm thinking it's almost time for Ben to be an alligator hunter!  :)

Ben , Sawyer and Jake the next  group of grandsons in line all took their bow coarse this fall. Of coarse Bill takes Ben hunting my son Tom takes his son Sawyer but Jakes father is not a hunter so I have been taking Jake since he was three, he's now 11yrs  old we will be out Thanksgiving morning. Ever since Billy shot his alligator Jakes has  been asking when he can go!  Just wait until your grandchild starts asking can I go too!!!!!!!!!! Holiday wishes to you and your family.

That's cool, Indiana.  Your son has grown into a fine young man, nothing better to to give thanks for than that.  Good luck to you both.
