nada again... he must be smarter than the average you know what.  They hit it at 11:30 last night for a little and that was it.  I hope they haven't moved on.  tomorrow I will bring in 100 lbs of dog food and some more grease.  I think that I will try leaving some stinky socks and t shirt so they can get used to my smell.

I just finished packing some more bait and to my surprise no bears were there last night.  the last hit was Saturday night and the last time the boar was in was Saturday early am.  I know of a bit of competition around but dang I still have a lot of bait.  Im wondering if the sow moved on after kicking the cub then the boar followed.  Hope they come back soon

Fingers crossed for you. Sometimes you get the bear and sometimes... well you know what I mean.

Great thread... I'm pulling for you.

Jason if you haven't seen it yet the Disneynature movie Bears is still in town.  Take the wife and boys and get some inspiration (not that you need it).  Great cinematography and a couple absolute toads of brown bears.

Ok, so I don't post much here, but read a lot.  I have checked this thread every day since you started it.  Very interesting, and hoping to see the end result pictures.  Good luck.

I think Tim's(chinook907) Biblical verse signature says it all...

Called Jason this afternoon just to make sure he wasn't bear poop! He sat in the rain lastnight.

He's just crazy enough to get this done.

Good luck brother!

I'm feelin' good about the new guy!  Thinkin' you may get a whack at him.

Anyone else "feelin" it?

I sat till 1am in hopes that they would come in in the dark and get used to me being there. Nothing came in but I had a friend sit with me and he was loud.  Really loud.  I will give it a day off and then spend friday night till first light.
