The trooper is just fishing,,,,doesn't know what the he## he is talking about.  There isn't anything dictating the weight of the broadhead,,,,,total weight of the arrow is the only criteria that has any weight restrictions.  300 grains. Maybe that is what the trooper meant when he asked for the weight.

Plenty total arrow weight
62" Super D, 47#s @ 25-1/2"
58" TS Mag, 53#s @ 26"
56" Bighorn, 46#s @ 26.5"

He is fine and was good to go.  Sounds like a little misunderstanding.  If he's using goldtips with a zwickey he's gonna be at least 485 to 500 gr.  No sweat there.

And he is fine for minimum poundage for grizz (50#)

that's the point the guy asked for head weight not arrow weight.  he also looked at the marks on the bow and said what only 28 lbs.  the guy is just lost.  the tried to convince Brian that only birds had been eating on it when half of the pelvis gone

as far as the eating goes, it didn't make very good steaks,  im thinking sausage and pep sticks for the next few years.

Nothin' like sausage and pepper sticks to hide a chewy old grizzly.  Great job!
