Thouhgt I'd bring this up to the top so others can maybe try something different for a quiver.
I've liked the idea of a non bow quiver but just never found one I liked, Tried a hip quiver, back quiver, and also a High Noon Hunter side quiver but didn't like the arrows rattleing around.
Well Just the other day I did darn near exactly as Pat B did(even used a Thunderhorn quiver) and I never even seen this thread or the pics he posted.
The only difference I did was instead of cutting slots for the strap I just drilled a hole in damn near the same spot and used a plastic zip tie to make a loop and then I used a 1" wide web strap attached to the zip tie loop.
Yes this makes a fine way to carry your quiver. Makes the bow nice and comfortable to sit across your lap with no bow quiver on it.
Another tid bit of info is to pull that foam out of the hood and cut about 3/4 to 1" off of the end that you stick the tips into it and slide it back in. This makes it very easy to slip in the broadhead so the entire head is covered with out forcing it in.
