Hey Mad Dog Fans...
« on: November 30, 2013, 03:48:00 PM »
I just received my new Prarie Predator on Weds, right before Thanksgiving. I had Mike build it with the Padauk in the riser and black limbs.

It arrived in great shape, and fast too...it hadn't been that long since I ordered it.

It's light as a feather. I asked for 54# @ 28". He hit the weight perfect. He suggested that for my 27" draw, I would like a 57" longbow and he was right again.

I nocked it at 1/2" high, braced it at 7" and shot it, only to discover that in my haste, I forgot to add the yarn ball string silencers that I had bought from Big Jim at Comptons. OK...now she's quiet as a mouse.

I don't know what this man does, but can he build a sweet shooting bow...and at a really sweet price.

It doesn't seem to care what arrows I feed it, just the point of impact is higher or lower per the weight difference. Smooth draw, quiet, and fast.

If you are looking for a lightweight, inexpensive shooting machine for yourself or spouse, or child, give Mike a call.

I like it!!!

This might be a good excuse to try to post pics.
I have loaded the Photobucket app to my cell phone  and found a way to transfer pics from it to my PC with WIFI. Need to try to finish this and get some pics on here.

Had Mike build me a pink recurve....umm-m-m-m...that should read I had Mile build a pink reurve for my grand daughter...not me!Anyway, he dyed a chunk of maple pink and produced a wonderful youth bow which she is still shooting three years later. Good guy!

Just ordered my first Mad Dog yesterday.  60" recurve, although the wait isn't bad I'm not sure how I'm gonna get through it.

Mine was built when a shoulder issue forced me down in poundage.  shooter for sure.  Light to the hand and so well make.  Probably best bang for the buck
