The Traveling Stalker Stickbows "JACKAL"
« on: December 01, 2013, 03:40:00 PM »
Hey Gang,

*****  Sign up for the traveling Jackal now closed  *****

Due to requests, South agreed to build a "traveling Jackal".  The first stop for the Jackal will be in SC, for a "hog heaven" hunt.  From there it will continue on.  We want the Jackal to make an appearance at Kalamazoo, so scheduling this may take some planning. Hopefully we'll have at least two participants that will be attending Kalamazoo, one to drop it off on the 24th and one to pick it up on the 26th.  If not, we'll make other arrangements.

If interested in test driving the Jackal, please post your name and State.  If you're interested and able to drop off or pick up the Jackal on the desired dates of Kalamazoo, please notate.

Anyone signing up needs to be in the cont. US and a "TG contributor/sponsor" or have at least 500 posts.  At this point in time, we will take the first 10 that sign up.

If you decide to participate, you will have to pay for USPS priority shipping to the next recipient and may only test drive the bow for one week.  So, if you receive it on a Monday, please be sure to ship it by the following Monday.

Sorry but at this point in time we only have one Jackal.  It's right hand and will be about 50# @ 28".

All insights in regards to the Jackal may be posted here…

Thank you!

Ryan I would love to have it the week of the JLMBH bunny hunt in February. The hunt, which will likely see between 75-100 hunters, is scheduled for Feb 14th and 15th of 2014.

Thanks, David

Ryan, I'm very interested and can take it to Kzoo the minute the doors open on Friday.  I enjoyed speaking with South at last year's show, and am very excited to try out the Jackal.

Okay guys, here's what it'll look like if all goes as planned.

The Jackal named "Boone" will start off at the hog hunt in SC.

After the hunt, it'll be shipped off to Gery (katman), he will keep it for a week, then get it shipped off to Aaron (DarkTimber).

Then to,

Andrew (Pokerdaddy)

Andrew should have it in time to shoot it for a week.  He'll drop off "Boone" to South Cox on the opening day of Kalamazoo.  That way others will be able to give it a go.  South will try his best to have a couple Jackals with him too.

On the last day of Kalamazoo, Todd (xtrema312) can you pick up "Boone" from South Cox?

From there it will head to David (Huntrdfk).  David you should receive it in time to practice before the bunny hunt.

Then off to Nathan Killen, Bisch, Nathan (Homebru), Mike (Prarie Drifter), and the last stop will be with David (Snag).  David, you will be sending it back home to South.

Please PM the Gang member who has the bow before you with your personal shipping address.

There are a couple key dates to keep in mind.

The first is trying to get the bow to Andrew (Pokerdaddy) a week before Kalamazoo, Jan 24th.

The next important date would be to get it to David (Huntrdfk) a week before the JLMBH bunny hunt that starts on Feb. 14th.

I've tried to schedule it so that everyone would have a week with it including shipping times but it's almost the holidays and shipping will be crazy!!!

Let's try our best to keep in contact by posting questions, concerns, feedback and updates here.

Thank again!
