Sounds like fun, Im in Siloam Springs Ar (just about as close to NE OK as you can get without being there) My son lives in Grove so im buying a non-res lic anyway. Ive been doing some scouting over there already.

Let me know dates and times and location.

For non resident archery deer it looks like $280.
Is that for one deer?
Will a,hunting license also be needed?

The 280 is for a nonresident deer archery license, no other license is required and allows the holder to take a full 6 deer limit (max of 2 bucks or all 6 does if you like)

Note: season is from Oct 1st to Jan 15th 2015 but the non-res lic is only good until Jan 1st 2015.

You guys better read the regs a little better. I'm pretty sure those NR deer license are good for one deer each.

I think the NR license is good for six deer.  What we were told last year when a friend from out of state hunted with me.

I know before the license cost went from $201 to $280 they were good for one deer, and I don't see the state giving any discounts, so I would call OKC and ask the department, because if I'm right and a warden gets involved it could get costly very quick....Just say'n

I hunt OK every year. One tag equals one buck and doe. You can do that 3 times for 6 deer total. If you can afford it.

Here's what I found from the wildlife dept. for non-residents in "new for 2011" so it's old information.
" Non-resident deer hunters now can choose between a non-resident deer archery license, a non-resident deer muzzleloader license or a non-resident deer gun license. Each license is $280 and is valid for all of the allowed deer for that method."
I'm still not sure but it would seem the license is good for all six deer.  At least in 2011.

Nonresident
Deer Licenses
Nonresidents may purchase three season-
specific deer licenses: a nonresident deer ar
-
chery license, a nonresident deer primitive
firearms license or a nonresident deer gun
license. Each of the three types of nonresident
deer licenses permit the hunter to hunt for all
deer allowed during the specified season. For
the specific season limits, see the information
for each season. The combined season limit of
all seasons remains six deer per individual with
no more than two antlered deer.
These licenses are valid on both public and
private lands. Licenses are not transferable be
-
tween seasons. The nonresident deer gun license
also covers the holiday antlerless deer season.
Note:
Individuals hunting with a nonresident
deer archery license will need a 2015 license for
hunting starting Jan. 1, 2015

3 seasons 6 deer, 2 deer per season is what I get out of it.
