Thanks all. It still is amazing to me a guy 85 years old can put together bows like John.  

 He is an amazing guy. He will be missed when he quits the craft. I think I need to do a story on him before he retires.

 He is certainly slowing down, but the bows are still the same.

Hornhunter, I just need to drill some holes in the riser,pound in some inserts,  grind on the handle a bunch & it will be just as nice as yours, ha!!

Give him a call, he usually has a few.  Last time I was there I shot his personal longbow  because the few in his shop at the time were too heavy for me.
