Shopco,  If you come to the shoot on Feb 1st at Sherwood Archers, Sussex you will see and get to shoot a lot of John's bows.  I usually bring two Big River longbows myself - you're welcome to try them out.

That's a stunning bow Brian.  John builds great bows, I've owned a bunch of fine longbows and John's are right up there with the best of them.  In fact, the only bow I currently own is a Big River longbow.

That's really a beautiful bow!  Both my son (JJB) and I have '69 Super Kodiaks.  One of the best production bows out there.  This rendition is going to be another wonderful bow.     :thumbsup:

The more I shoot this thing, the more I like it! I had a Bear SK for a while (stole it from Grendel for a few weeks), this bow just plain shoots better. It`s going to be hard not to hunt with it this fall.

I also have one of these, 62" of awesome shooting 58@28, It is really a special hearfelt experience knowing this bow was built by a man who has been around the block as long as John, he is truly a master.
