Late season Shawnee Forest Buck [Story on pg 3]
« on: December 19, 2013, 01:34:00 PM »
Just got back from Southern Il late season hunt. Was fortunate enough to take nice late season buck. Had a great time saw a lot of critters. First kill with my original Schafer Silvertip.

Some got computer skills, some make meat ! Congrats bud ! Hope to get back to Southern Illinois myself someday...... We hunted that patch of heaven for two years and it is an awesome place. Stayed in Marion and hunted there and Vienna.

Yea, we were south of Harrisburg, around Eddyville. Prettiest place I'd hunted since the Banf Natl Forest Alberta Ca. Fell in love with it down there, you can just go and go, scout till yer legs fall off, lol.
