Got a new 3-D  target.....but best of all spent time with my grandson......I have to move closer to him!!
In the beginner's mind there are many possibilities. In the expert's there are few...So the most difficult thing is always to keep your beginner's mind...This is also the real secret of the arts: always be a beginner.  Shunryu Suzuki

Got the green light from Mama and got on Kent's list for a Timberghost RC!!  My  parents got me some new GT arrows, arrow collars, feathers, and a pair of 3rivers videos.  As I mentioned in another thread, the best gift is His grace.... he was born so that he could die.  "There is no forgiveness without the shedding of blood."

Santa dropped off some woodies and a Fred Bear limited edition print framed and ready to be hung.
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside thoroughly used up, totally worn out, with bible in hand and loudly proclaim...WOW...What a Ride!!!

Craig.... You are overlooking an important "thing" that your wife calculated into the bargain (I know, I am going thru the exact same issues here and this spring I build a shop)... a place for you to go and stay away from her (out of her hair !) for large chunks of time.. priceless !

The wife went overboard this year and got me a super nice moultrie black out trail camera, a fancy ladderstand, and a browning folding hunting knife that has the assist open function.

Received some brass inserts and steel adapters for the dozen Beman shafts as well as a "Big Man" Spot 360 chair! But the greatest gifts was that my son, daughter in law, grandson and granddaughter came up early from TN to spend Christmas with me and my wife, my daughter and her boyfriend and his son.

My mother passed away Christmas morning and having my family here with me was a great comfort. Knowing that my Mom was spending Jesus' birthday with Him, didn't diminish the sense of loss, but it made me appreciate having my loved ones close by. God Bless you all, Mike

My oldest son works for Hewlett Packard and he got me a new HP laptop for Christmas. I'm up north hunting the late season right now and I can get on TG and see whats going on... That education I paid for is starting to pay off...

Got the greatest gift as I opened my front door after church and their stood my youngest daughter from Texas.  What a great surprise that was.  God also blessed us all with good health and great food.  Stocking stuffer had a dozen Ace 175's for my pig hunt in March.

IF you hunt with your kids, you won't have to hunt your kids.
