My boys trad Christmas
« on: December 25, 2013, 02:43:00 PM »
I've been pulling side jobs for months trying to save up and get my boys something special for Christmas. They've always loved my blackwidow with snake skin limbs. So this year I started poking and asking what kind I skins they liked the most. I also contacted Mike with maddog archery and ordered two pup longbows. I also placed an order with 3rivers for a dozen arrows for them to split, two back quiver kits, and arm guards and tabs for them both. To really top it off I contacted onestringer.com and they sent me two limbsations in one piece strips to fit the long bows, one in copperhead one in diamond back. Here's the end result…

Your a lucky man to be able to pass of your knowledge and skills to your children.

Lucky for me my parents recognized my love of archery at 8yrs. and went on to support me in my love of archery my entire life.  From recurves, Olympic trials to 18 yrs as a pro.  Now I'm back to recurves and longbows approaching 70yrs old.

What a great lifetime of experiences and lifelong friends!
