Arrow saw help please

I have never had to have my arrows cut, My daughter has taken up archery and full length will just not work for her. I am starting her off with aluminum and later carbons.
I have never purchased a arrow saw and need help with choosing one. I want to get one that is made out of quality and will last. but I don't have a clue to which one. if you guys don't mind suggesting one and telling why it would be great
thanks Robert

Three Rivers offers cut off saws in their catalog. I believe they are made by Apple. I bought mine off the big auction site and have been happy. Its built around a Harbor Freight Mini cut off saw and works well on aluminum, wood and carbon. Two types of blades are included. Good luck with your search.

If your cutting aluminum, pick up a tubing cutter at your local hardware store, around $10, in the plumbing section.

Ordered mine direct from Apple Archery. Well worth it. Get the one with dust collection and use it when cutting carbons.

Keep in mind that you are going to put very few hours on your saw. I bought a cheap high-speed cutoff saw around 15 years ago. It works great and is still going strong.
Don't breath carbon dust!

The Harbor Freight mini cutoff saw is very inexpensive and works good. It's not the quality of a Apple but if you are just making arrows for you and your family it would serve you well.

I picked up an Apple arrow saw last year off of Craigs list. What a great add to my equipment. I use the heck out of it and well worth the investment.
