PaleFace, I can't remember where, but I do recall someone recommending placing spiderlegs, etc. halfway between your nocking point and the string nock. That would seem to be in agreement with the physics principles involved....Or would it? Perhaps they should be placed at equal intervals; i.e.: divide string length by 3 and put them there! For example: string length of 60" would indicate proper placement at 20" from ends of string. Hmmmm??? I'll try both, then stabilize mine at the quietest point.
