A happy new year.....
« on: January 01, 2014, 07:43:00 PM »
I hear tell some people stay up half the night and watch the ball drop for the new year......I'd much rather get up early and watch the big orange ball rise!!!Bringing in 2014 doing one of my favorite things, sittin out on the Sika marsh! Still to this day I'm in awe at how dead quiet a frozen marsh on a still morning can be........................Happy New Year ya'll!!!

I'm with you John, only problem...my kids made me stay up until mid-night and at 5:30 am my internal alarm clock went off. I found myself on stand by 6:30 watching a fantastic sunrise!   :notworthy:

What's a "sun rise " ?  My internal clock wants my eyes to be shut till around 7 am.  Gets grumpy if it is any earlier, although it normally is (nearly every morning.. dogs to go out at 5:30 and granddaughter to get on the school bus).
