My good friend Jeff Vess has a life long goal of converting all UT archers to traditional. And although he's still got some work to do, he's made a great start. One of the best ways to get guys involved is get them shots at game. So he organized a bunny hunt on New years Day for a few (10) good friends. It was a great day with lots of shots, some near misses, and a few bunnies brought to bag. All these were shot with stickbows. It was a great outing with some great guys. I also got to witness 3 first trad kills! That in itself was worth the price of admission.

My bud David has been shooting a Stalker for about a year, and finally got it done! He kept saying over and over "I can't beleive I did that, I can't believe I got something with a stickbow!" It was great!! The two teenagers that came also got their first trad kills!

Needless to say it was a great day! One to remember. I will add more photos as I get them!

Those are monster rabbits. They make our rabbits look like hamsters.

You must have some good rabbit numbers this year. We're on the upswing but I'm afraid you'd hunt long and hard to find that many " Victim's " in one day around here.

This was our spoof on the "trophy" photos most are taking now days. It was too fun doing this shot!!
