Kennym's Round Two!!!
« on: January 03, 2014, 06:49:00 PM »
In less than 10 hours "Jacobsladder" and myself will be heading to Missouri for "round two". Steve and I kicked off the season on Kenny's lease the end of September and we're going back to close it up for 2013. Had hoped to get a break from our Michigan winter but it doesn't look that way. I'll be packing a couple of Shrew's and a whole bunch of wool. We'll keep you posted.

Pic of the temp on our last day October 4th

What we're looking at this week

Burrrrrrrr!!!!!!!

If you can get here before the snow tomorrow and can find some food You should find some Deer.

Be careful of those temps Sun. and Mon. supposed to be the coldest temps in 20 yrs in the surrounding areas. Have a great hunt.

Target is still on the porch.  We left the heat running for you.  Made a few deer a little more nervous than they were if that is possible.  Good luck and be careful with those temps.

We had a stinker yesterday. I had 39C (102F) at 10am, and 45C (116F) at 1.30pm, taken on my porch in the shade.

Skeeters ought not be a bother, snakes either. Good luck with your hunting and staying warm.

Actually, it's a Tippit, made from a buggy spring!

Mike and Steve made it in, or should I say slid in about midnight. Roads are a bit slick with about 3" of new snow, and 1-3" forecast for today.

Should be able to see what the deer are doing tho!
Stay sharp, Kenny.

Obviously, they were not wearing a thermocell that spring if they thought it to be so buggy

Great looking blade, it compliments deer hide nicely.
Relax,
